Winter Weather Update for Valentine's day, 2025. (Shoutout to the Wives and Girlfriends here representing the other halves here at PW, I'm sorry!)Looks like we are going to have a blast of snow tonight. There is a forecasted band of snow that is assumed to have snowfall rates capable of 1.5" per hour. According to the hourly predictions as of this morning, the highest probability of this band is about 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Total accumulations could be around 3" today, with another couple scattered throughout tomorrow. Anticipate white-out conditions at the time the band moves through, and less-than-ideal driving conditions for a bit after the storm. It will take the crew some time to get through. I've been watching this one since earlier in the week as it was on/off/on and totals have been changing daily. Now that we are about 12 hours out, I think this is as accurate as it is going to get.The City of Harvard, Illinois Michael P. Kelly Harvard Police Department Harvard Fire Protection District ...
